All the old paintings on the tombs They do the sand dance don't you know...
No, he couldn't tell she was from Manhattan, in fact, it took him a second to place Manhattan. Wait, New York, that was it. He hadn't really been paying attention to the accent or anything, and it wasn't like they had a definite look. Now, when she said that he didn't look Scottish, he was going to make a comment about the American track record for knowledge of the rest of the world, but he decided against it. Twas a little too douchey. He shrugged. "Neither red head nor freckled, but you'd be surprised to know that not all of us are. Don't all wear kilts either." he mused with a half-grin.

Andie grinned at Finn's comment about kilts. "Yeah, and not all New Yorkers are related to mafia members and not all of us ARE mafia members. And no, I can't do a Joe Peschi impression." Andie thought for a moment, racking her brain for any other stereo types about New Yorkers. She shrugged. "Yeah, I got nothing." She grinned widely.

"Well, it's not like New York is all Italian or Sicillian anyway." he mused. What were they, mostly Jewish, right? He had no idea. He shrugged a little. "Won't lie though, we drink exactly as mucb as people think we do." He was very proud of his ability to knock back a sinful amount of the devil's nectar. Devil. Now there was an interesting concept. It was actually just the word evil with a 'd' in front of it. How utterly uncreative, and it was astonishing that people didn't seem to notice that. But anyway, that wasn't all that important. He chuckled a little and shook his head when she said she had nothing. "...I'm hungry."

"True, very true," Andie said when Finn made the remark about not all New Yorkers being Italian. Finn had said he was hungry. "Oh, well, you can go eat in the cafeteria or wherever, and I'll go look around some more. Sound good?" she offered. Andie was fairly good at making offers, it was almost scary.

He smiled a little at the girl. She seemed alright. That was pretty cool. He folded his arms. Her suggestion seemed fine. "Well, alright then. Maybe I'll see you around again later. But right now the Poutine is calling. If you don't know what that is, order it by chance next time you're at a place that serves it. It's the single greatest contribution to the world of food that the Canadians ever made." he mused as he hoisted his bag so it hung properly, and then headed off on his way.

Andie returned Finn's smile as he made a comment about some dish called poutine that Andie'd never heard of. "Never heard of it. I'll have to follow your advice, Finn," She called after him. "See ya, Finn!" Andie said quickly before going to explore the school more. Hmm, perhaps the main building?Andie pondered before heading in that direction. If not, she was sure that there would be other buildings.
