A 16 year old female in grade 10. She represents Nike, the Greek goddess of victory, power and speed.
history; She was born in Vancouver, BC right along with her twin brother, Christopher. Her and Chris were very close, closer even than the bond between child and parent. When one or the other cried for someone, it wasn't because their mother or father were walking away to do something, it was because the other twin wasn't close enough.
The two were inseparable, even through the first few years of school. They had other friends, sure, but they were happiest when they were doing things together. Perhaps that's why Nicki was so much of a tomboy. After all, none of her friends wanted anything to do with the rough playing of Chris's friends, even though Nicki hardly minded.
Of course, all good things must come to an end. They were walking home from school one day. Well, that isn't entirely true, as they were running at the time. Racing each other had become a passion among the twins, especially for Nicole. Of course, Chris's shoelace came undone and the little seven-year-old boy tripped. They were in a field beside the road, so the sound of the grass softened the blow. Nicole didn't hear him go down. She did hear his scream though as a truck pulled up and snatched him, driving away before she could reach it. His yell still wakes her some nights, and he's the reason she runs. She thought then, and still thinks now, that if she had been faster then they wouldn't have been separated. The police never found Chris, but Nicole is still certain he's alive, somewhere.
She was still in elementary school when her godly aspects started showing, but nothing definitive came along until a week into the summer before grade nine. She woke up on her front, with white wings having sprouted out of her back. There went her favourite pair of pajamas. She joined Pantheon academy in grade nine, and worked with her teachers to figure out a way to hide her wings. It's painful, but they've figured it out. Due to the pain, she tends to keep them showing unless she's going out in public. She only wears zip-up sweaters and button-up shirts as a result, except for trips into town, and she's cut hole in the back that she can, with a bit of flexibility slip her wings through.
personality; Nicole tends to be a very forward and friendly girl. She loves meeting new friends, especially those who enjoy running. She enjoys anything that involves a fast pace or a competition of sorts. She tends to live her life on the edge a bit, but she knows when to stop most of the time. She loves winning--the goddess of victory is revealed in this--but that doesn't mean she can't stand to lose. She doesn't necessarily like it, but does anyone? Likely not. Don't expect to see her dressed up too often either; she's a tomboy at heart, and this shines through in much more than just her fashion sense. It isn't uncommon to see her trying to show others she's just as good as the boys, and when it comes to creepy crawlies, don't think she's going to run screaming the other way. She'll probably keep it as a pet instead.
fears;;- Being bound, tied up, or locked in a small space
- Being buried alive
- Dentists
- Needles
limitations;; She's technologically impaired, and learns only enough to get by(email, chatroom, internet, and Microsoft Word). Her wings are also still growing, so she can fly, but not for very long, or anywhere higher than two storeys off the ground. She's working on the muscles in the meantime, to improve this despite the size of her wings.

A 17 year old male in grade 12. He represents Selvans, the Roman god of woodlands, fields and boundaries.
history; Though he was born in Houston, he really doesn't remember it that well. his family moved to Los Angeles, California when he was only six months old. He had a fairly normal childhood, then when he was about ten years old, a call came in. His grandmother, all on her own, was sick. And so they packed up and moved right on back to Houston. It tore him up a little, as he didn't want to leave his friends behind. The stress was what brought about the manifestation of his powers. He was throwing a tantrum in the hotel room they were staying in until they could move into the new house, and his mother had gone over to try and comfort him. Needless to say, she couldn't get anywhere near him. She ran into an invisible wall that he had, unknowingly, put up around himself.
His parents were frightened half to death, and Sorren knew he shouldn't purposely do it again. But, in secret, he practised, and found out he could manipulate plants as well. Speed up their growth, slow it down, and such things. Well, the little shy boy in the corner who knew no one flipped in attitudes over night. These powers he had boosted his confidence sky high. Too high, in fact, and he often got in trouble. By the time he had finished grade eight, his parents were worried about the mischief he'd get up to in the local high school, which already had a bad reputation. They did their research, stumbled across Deity High and shipped him off. Now the school staff have dealt with him for three years, and they're all getting ready to rejoice when he graduates.
That, at least, is the history he tells. But he enjoys keeping secrets about his own life. It's real enough, but you might want to expect there to be a lot of gaps. Gaps that he may or may not fill.
personality; On the wild side, Sorren is a man for action. He really could care less about the consequences that he will face, but he tries not to let anyone else take the fall. If anyone is going to get hurt, it'll be him throwing himself in between someone else and danger, either literally or figuratively. He's been told once that "introducing yourself is flirting", and he hasn't denied it. He is openly bisexual, and flirts with almost anyone, for the most part. He used to be a bit of a coward, but he's done a full 180 on that aspect and is entirely full of himself. He shows off often, and actually enjoys bringing attention to himself whenever possible.
fears;; ~ Fire ~ Being left all alone ~ Being unable to do anything while someone hurts others
limitations;; ~ Too full of himself ~ He'd throw himself into the path of a bullet that would kill him, just to save someone ~ Very blunt. This has gotten him into a whole lot of trouble in the past.
