It was dusk, the sun letting it's warmth wash over the people on Earth once more before it dissapeared to let the darkness of night settle in. People lined up outside the Silverscreen Theatres. The most popular threater in the town. Well the only theater. There were couples, friends, families and loners who just wanted to see a movie. Anothe loner line dup in the crowd, his gray shirt floating around his wrists as his hands dissapeared into the pockets on his dark grey jeans. Poking out from his flare bottoms his black shoes showed. Today he wore his black trench coat, slight frown on his face, his yellow cat-like eyes disturbed at the large crowd. Anyone of them could attack him! His longish, spikish brown fell face in unkept manner.

His mouth opened in a cat like yawn as the line slowly moved forward. Finally though he bought his ticket and went inside. He passed the the snack counter without a second glance, he already ate. He walked into his movie and sat down for what was supposingly the fastest paced adventure comedy in the country! He sat through about 15 minutes before he descided that his life was better this crap! Snorting in disgust he got up and headed for the exit.

That is until he saw a girl in the back row giving him eyes. A girly girl. Right by the freakin door. The only door. He looked at her for a sec, then turned right back around and plopped straight down in his seat for the rest of the boring ass movie, he could almost hear her huff of frustration. He knew she would talk to him later, but hopefully something would help him out. And he began praying to whatever god's there were!

Chris kept his eye on the movie not even bothering to look at who sat next to him. This had been a nice place to sit until this person showed damn it! He hated sitting next to people or even being around people, he's had to many people try to kill him. Well, try and fail to kill him. But still those experiances sure as hell don't leave you fast. He usualy got this really annoying pent up feeling like he was in a cage when people came near him or sat next to him, like now. Even in th eline he had stayed a few paces back from them. But now, well that feeling for the most part didn't even exist, as if he knew the person from a long time ago. Chris frowned, bothered by the lack of feeling and insticntively his eyes turned to brown. Finally he got curious towards the end of the movie, he had been ignoring the person for the most part, but curiosity got the best of him. Faintly, as he glanced to look at the person, he wondered if the old saying 'Curiosity killed the cat.' was true.

Chris's eye nearly bugged out of his sockets as he recongized Nicki, he sucked in a breath so quick that it made a kind of hissing sound and he was pretty sure she heard it. Instinct was the only thing that saved him the trouble of exlaining his eyes he realized. It was also the thing that kept him from jumping of, dealing with the chick, and leaving when Nicki had sat next to him.

"Nick!?!" he whispered shocked. As he stared at his twin he realized something. Nicki could also be his ticket to getting away from the girly-girl. Yes! He did an airpunch in his head as he realized this. After all she didn't know they were twins. But then an unhappy thought broke through the euphoria. She probably didn't have the 'powers' he did and couldn't go to the same school. He almost started pouting.

(Hey i just realized for this character I'm kinda using thez "words" alot, so tell me if I start to go overboard so I know where the line is between PG-13 and R XD)

Chris held his twin tight, he never wanted to leave her again! But... No he wouldn't think about that now, for now until he'd enjoy this hour he had. "I missed you too Nicki..." he whispered, tears threatening to escape his eyes.

Chris was tempted to force Nicki to hug him longer but he let her go, and watched with a small smile as she sent the priss running. Man, he had missed his sister. But then they got to the part why didn't he come home. He looked at her sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. How could he explain it to her? No how could he lie to her!?! "Well... you see... its complicated..." he mumbled, his eyes dropping filling with unbearable sadness. He didn't wnat to meet his twin and then have to leave again after all these years!

Chris shut down his emotions, whirled around and walked away, his face deadly. He didn't want to do this, it would have been better if he had just stayed quiet and left. He knew she would follow him to get answers, that was just her nature, well as much as he remembered of her. He walked out the door and nearly bumped into the priss, again. Damn, this chick just didn't give up. As she looked up at him hope in her eyes, he stared her down, his eyes briefly turning cat like again and then he was gone.

He wished everybody would leave him the hell alone! He hated doing that to people as the frightened look on the girl's face had reminded him, but he just wanted to be alone. Once he was out of the Theater he headed for the park, running, and found a secluded tree away from people. Now he could think about things befre Nicki showed. He let one tear fall, jsut one. He hadn't cried all these years and he wouldn't now!

(AHA! >D drama without even meaning too ^_^)

Chris let out a low snarl as something heavy dragged him to the ground, everything in his body told him to kill whatever was taking him down, but something stopped his usually quick reflexes. He hit the ground with a grunt, then he let another grunt in surprise at Nicki's voice. He lifted his head, ready with a smart retort that would send her running when he saw her wings.He sucked in a breath and stared at them for a long while. They couldn't be really could they?

He got one of his arms free from Nicki's death grip and hesitantly touched her feathers. They didn't crumple beneath his fingers, so they must be real. He came to this conclusion just as he realized her position must be painful. After some difficulty Chris got out of Nicki's death grasp and stood up, one hand running through his hair. "Nicki... I..." he began, then just shook his head. He had no idea what to say or how to say it, right now his feelings were an overwhelming mix of confusion, shock and happiness.

"Are... Are they really real?" he choked out, closing his eyes. he was afraid to open them till he heard her answer, if he was hallucinating it would just make everything worse, but if they were real... then she went to Deity High! He just hadn't seen her yet! Finally he opened his eyes forcing himself to look at his sister and for the moment his eyes betrayed his feelings.

Chris let out his breath and started laughing weakly. He covered his eyes and the tears started streaming out. He wouldn't have to leave his twin after all, he was so happy! He let his hand fall to his side and grinned at Nicki, his eyes turning cat-like again. After all he didn't have to hide it.

"I'm glad..." he said. He stepped forward and hugged his sister tightly. "Now we don't have to be separated again.." he choked. Then the tears really started streaming, he had missed his sister so much these last years! H ahted the fact that he thought he would never see her again and then today he thought they would have to leave each other again. He let his own wings stir beneath his coat, and if Nicki ended up hugging him back she would feel them.

Chris grinned at Nicki. "I doubt they'll be able to kidnap me now!" he said. "Super human strength and all." Chris stuck his tongue out at Nicki, laughing with her. Yea he was the sappy one of the two, but hey, he had his sister back again.

"One thing bothers me though." he said with a frown. "How did I not see you at school? You should be pretty obvious with your big head and all." Chris grinned, teasing Nicki back. He had missed this part of being twins the most. The tease battles.
