"2016: The Year of Change"
At least that's what the newspapers would have us believe. But we know better. We are different and it's like a curse. The normal people fear us; you can see it in their eyes. And there are those that seek to destroy us. They say we don't deserve to exist. But we fight for our survival, our right to live.
And this is why this place was built. An academy for people like us. It was our haven and a place to learn to accept who and what we are. But there is a problem; the war continues...even inside these walls.
...and a peace has settled over Nippon. From region to region, prosperity is overflowing and happiness is bountiful. The people rejoice in the peace that has finally descended. Yet, not everything is as it appears to be. Amaterasu has returned to the Celestial Plain.
Time has passed...
Some of the Gods have become restless, bored, or envious. Why should Amaterasu have all the power? Some Gods think that they should have the power. Others are just bored and want more power to do other things. Some Gods are just too meek and are reigned in with the other Gods plans to overthrow Amaterasu and steal her power....
Sometimes, there is peace in war, and others, peace comes through healing.

Andie looked up at Sorren. "That'd be great, actually. I love coffee!" Andie paused a moment and pondered before turning back to Sorren. "Sorren," she asked thoughtfully. "What's your deity? I mean, this is a deity highschool, right? So, I was just curious. I mean, if you're not really comfortable with sharing that, I understand. I just wondered." Andie looked patiently at him, waiting for his reaction. She had a strange tendency to ramble a bit, then to be silent. She was full of contradictions. Andie was a curious one, that was for sure.

Fey,Sorren W. i'm burning through the skies two hundred degrees that's why they call me mister fahrenheit i'm travelling at the speed of light
He laughed at her dramatic explanation. After all, it wasn't everyday you ran into someone willing to just pretend they were in a play for a moment, without cause anyway.
Will do. And you're invited to join me in my journey to find some natural light, if you wish.
He seemed perfectly patient, ready to hang around a bit in here instead, but, in truth, he was kind of itching to get outside. It had been so cloudy recently that he'd had very little sun. He loved being in the sun, though whether that was due to just personal preference or the fact he controlled plant life or a mix of both, he wasn't entirely sure. Nor did he particularly care to analyze what he liked and what he didn't, not anytime soon. That was a job for shrinks.

Fey,Sorren W. but you got to be tough when consumed by desire 'cause it's not enough just to stand outside the fire
He sat there, sort of silent, thinking, just for a moment, before his face brightened. He'd had an idea.
Hey, you know what? There's this really neat cafe in town called Starstruck Coffee. A lot of people from school hang around there. I was thinking about going sometime soon, anyway, so why don't we go into town right now and I'll show you around a little, then we can grab something from Starstruck?
He did this a lot with the new people at the school. He liked to help them out, partially because then he made more friends, and partly because that was just the kind of guy he was.
People from five different countries struggle each day. The powerful want to stay in command and keep their good fortunes. The rest fight to survive day by day.
A Land of the Magic...
In Shayz'renth, there's great power over the elements: shadow, light, fire, water, wind, and earth, but it can only be granted only by the Sages that rule them. Each day brings another theft, another murder, and another noble feigning ignorance. Every day a person must chose between what is right and what is wrong.
A Land of Barrenness...
In Kolshtak, the desert brings little to those who live in it. Communities form around sources of water, depending on them for survival. It is from this country that the gypsies were born, clans that formed generations ago to survive.
A Land of the Nature...
Governed by elves, Manti strives to be the most beautiful country. Still recovering from a civil war, they are enjoying peaceful times again. Some within are not so well off though. While some cities are rich with beauty and life, other cities are struggling each day.
A Land of the Trade...
It's not easy to be a landlocked country, and Lalan'ay would agree. What they cannot get from the ocean, they make up for in hard work and patience. They reach out to make trades routes with the countries around them.
A Land of the Chaos...
Pyroose has no central government. Their frozen lands are littered with hundreds of clans. Most of the people stay in the forested mountains. It is the most violent of the five countries. The people often prey on each other. Those born within are unlikely to ever see adulthood, and the brave travelers who visit have a tendency to disappear.

Verna smiled. He looked rather amusing like this. Though, he did appear as a talkative type, cheery and happy all the time. Though, airhead, wasn't exactly on the list. Somehow, she found it amusing to have a little mirror standing right before her... well, in a way, but that would be besides the point.
"Alas... I see I have no escape and must confess..." Verna sighed overdrammatically, the back of her hand raised slightly to her forehead, her eyes rolling up as she kept up the rolle of a lady. "My lord, you see? I find no interest in the lovely, lovely sun, alone that is... Unless of course, someone should wish to keep me company on that gorgeous day...Alas, since tis no one here yet, who would wish to do so, I prefer the cool halways of our school, with the secrets that this castle holds... especially if one has the right keys...." She allowed her voice traveled off as she held the act a moment longer before chuckling and allowing her hands to drop. "In the future, remind me to never do that again..." Verna smiled looking back at the guy. Theatre... is a funny thing... especially if one adds a touch of circus to it.
Requiem of Twilight « Result #8 on Aug 8, 2009, 11:06pm »
Over a hundred years ago...
The King of Thieves was captured in a failed attempt to kill the Hylian King and usurp the throne. As punishment, he was ordered to be executed by the Ancient Sage spirits, but as this order was carried out, through some divine jest, the evil Gerudo was gifted with the Goddesses’ power and revived.
Breaking free of his restraints, the dark lord drew the weapon of his demise from his chest, his vile laugh filling the air as he prepared to kill his executioners. However, this short moment of reprieve was the King’s downfall, as the Sages managed to open a portal to another world behind him. The void the portal created began to pull at him, slowly drawing him towards its depths, proving beyond even the Goddesses’ power to prevent.
The last act of the King of Evil before he disappeared from time was to launch the Sage’s Sword into the portal’s originator, piercing the very center of the Mirror of Twilight, but this proved to be worthless, as the damage was merely superficial, and the blade was quickly pulled into the void with its new owner…
The world has since lived in peace, battles and wars are small and short, fights becoming a mere training exercise of caution. People remain alert, prepared, but relaxed and comfortable.
Unfortunately, as with all things,
peace cannot last forever…
As you can tell, this is a Legend of Zelda Roleplay site, and I'm sure those of you who have good eyes can tell its based on the Twilight Princess game, but expanded and with a twist. We like to think of our site as a "Fantasy/Zelda RP", the knowledge of Zelda required is minimal~ You are able to claim canons from the game, as well as make original characters, get involved with the plot if you wish, and roleplay to your hearts content. ♥

for years, both worlds have hated each other, but kept from ending each other by necessity. The Aarimar, the air-born people of Alasdair, have for years been the source of magic and fine crafts. The Humans, those wingless being trapped to the stone earth, are a source of invention and advancment for both lands. Neither can survive without the other....
